I don’t even know where to start with this one. Being a senior and getting to experience this after everything we have been through makes it mean so much more. For so many years, we have been runner up. We have walked away knowing how close we were, wondering when it would finally be our turn. But through every one of those seasons, God was preparing us for something bigger than we could see. He gave me the ability to do this sport, the strength to keep pushing when it got hard, and opportunities I could have never created for myself. Every time I stepped on that mat, I was reminded that these abilities are gifts from Him, and I never want to forget that.

I’m so thankful for the years I’ve gotten to spend doing something I truly love and for the people who have been beside me through all the ups and downs. We have worked for this for so long, and getting to have this moment in my senior year feels so special. Looking back at all the times we fell short, I can see now that God’s timing was never wrong. He was writing a story better than anything I could have planned for myself. I’m leaving this season with a heart full of gratitude, knowing that every ability, every opportunity, every setback, and every victory was part of His plan. I’ll forever thank God for allowing me to live out this dream, and I pray I never forget where every good thing came from. All glory to Him 💜🏆
