Dear…. I always write and share from feeling. Over the past weeks, I chose to simply be present, at our new home, with my family. Because what a journey it has been: moving to Amsterdam, the city my family and I love so deeply. And maybe that’s why it only feels right now to pause, reflect, and share, closing 2025 and gently opening 2026. So much has happened. We travelled. We created. We changed our name to Mek Interiors 🤍 We carried the responsibility of large-scale projects, all guided by one constant truth: We create not only spaces, but moments. From intimate celebrations to large-scale events, from private residences to fashion brand showrooms, including interior projects ranging from complete renovations to full interior concepts, relocations, and the art of making new spaces feel like home. PA work, photography, and pages in Harper’s Bazaar. And in between it all: the renovation of my private home and the creation of our new office on Hazenstraat in Amsterdam. Everything flowed together. Driven by passion. Held by dedication. There was learning. There was blood, sweat, and sometimes tears. We did it. And I feel deeply grateful to live these dreams, and bring them to life. Tied together with the biggest bow. Carrying all the memories and lessons forward, guided by everything we’ve learned. 2026: more focus. Less, but better. More love. More passion. Thanks to my family 🤎 Thanks to my team🤎 Thank you..
