A splendid time on the East coast. Thanks to Filey folk festival for two fun gigs.

Next up for us
11th May - Shoulder of Mutton, Huddersfield
12th May - Coopers Arms, Holmfirth Festival of Folk

Specifically a big up to the promotors and sound engineers of our FFF Weekend. Kuba and James were the true heroes of the festival for us - smashing out quick sound checks, keeping to difficult schedules, making everyone fee at home, and booking great acts.

We also saw some great acts - Heslop and Stringer, Prairie Fever and John Cox

We've got some really cool things ahead. Starting with tonight we've got our radio debut on Saturday Night Country on @abcmusic and the clip on @cmt this arvo at 5pm (filmed in Joshua Tree and LA City).

I’ve been working on this project with @dankeyes for many years now and this is the first single! The project has gone through a few genre changes, but we finally landed on country… yeee haw! Link in bio

We didn’t know why we were writing songs. It wasn’t to fit in with a group of people and it wasn’t to make money. We didn’t have a fuckin choice. We met up every day and wrote songs about our personal and intimate experiences. Sometimes I’d call Tim in the middle of the night and tell him I have a song and he wouldn’t hesitate to meet up in the studio and record it. I’d be working jobs in bars and nightclubs and going through breakups and falling in love and all of the highs and lows in between and writing about all of it. I think the reason I wrote these songs was to feel not alone and that is through you. I hope you love this song as much as I do. If you do sing it! Sing it loud. Sing it so I can hear you from all the way over here. We are a part of something much bigger than these words and I’m so happy to be walking down this road with y’all. I’m gonna walk through the night just to be with you. All of you. (Link in bio)
