Another successful fabric shopping day for these four upcoming pillows! Two for Joely in TX and two for Linda here in OR! Three different linens (the Ikat is incredible!!), a white cotton and a blue stripe so fabulous we’re using it on two pillows! Blues can be so hard to match as so many of you know. i got diagnosed with endometriosis, and i’ve had to sit around and make myself busy in the meantime, so there’s nothing like starting a bunch of projects at once!!

thankful for all the creatives out in the world who inspire me to make everyday!

I finally made a perfect #RubyVest 😭❤️ after waiting years for my sewing to improve, I used this beautiful fish upholstery fabric from Mill End in PDX with a 4oz Denim Shirting from @blackbirdfabrics on the reverse side. I paired it with an all white linen #SaundraSkirt. Both patterns are from the talented @hisydgraham

As you can tell, I’m a huge @hisydgraham fan 😅

I finally revisited the #RubyVest after a few fails when it first came out. I bought this fish upholstery fabric from Mill End in PDX over a year ago with this exact vision in mind. I am SO happy I waited, because she came out PERFECT ❤️

Of course I had to make it reversible! The other side is a very dreamy 4oz Denim Shirting - Light Wash from @blackbirdfabrics .

Paired with an all white linen #SaundraSkirt using a thrifted bedsheet 🥰

This is one of my favorite go-to me made summer combos.

The top is the Chelsea Raglan by @fabric_store_online_ in a beautiful mystery fabric i got at a fabric swap at @sincerestudiopdx

The skirt is the Estuary skirt by @sewliberated in a mid weight linen from @millendstorepdx

I love accessorizing this combo with a fabric belt featuring a colorful book print and hand beaded Frida Kahlo earrings.

It’s gives “I have to work but I’d rather hammock+book+something cold and bubbly”

My THIRD shopping excursion…..all SIX pieces for Shannon in OR! Silks, solid cottons, a metallic cotton, a shadow play cotton and a seersucker…..incredible array! Four will be pillows and two will be finished for custom acrylic trays. Shannon and I were able to meet in person at @millendstorepdx so that was fun! Thank you, Shannon….all fabulous!
