🩸 About DevilDriver

DevilDriver are an American heavy metal band from Santa Barbara, California, formed in 2002 by vocalist Dez Fafara after his departure from Coal Chamber.

Originally known as Deathride, the band changed their name to DevilDriver early on. Their self-titled debut arrived in 2003, introducing their aggressive mix of groove-heavy riffs, harsh vocals, and modern metal.

Their 2005 album “The Fury of Our Maker’s Hand” helped push the band further into the American metal scene, while later releases explored elements of groove metal, melodic death metal, metalcore, and extreme metal.

After years with Roadrunner Records, DevilDriver moved to Napalm Records, continuing their long-running career with Dez Fafara remaining at the center of the band’s sound and identity. 🔥
