What an amazing morning of fellowship! It was a blessing to share the word of God and have meaningful conversations about how we can apply scripture to our lives and to share testimonies of Gods goodness to help one another.

This is all for Gods Glory and to make heaven crowded 🙏🏼

We can’t wait to see you next week 🙏🏼 God bless!

What can God do in 44 days…

We packed up the Honda Pilot with a trusted atlas, heaping piles of pillows & blankets & an overwhelming amount of luggage. We said goodbye to family, full of expectation and excitement for what lay ahead. 25 hours later we arrived in Windsor, Colorado. Little did we know how much the small Bible school there would shake us. I’ve learned now never to underestimate what my God can do… but I’m getting ahead of myself. We checked in & briefly took in the faces of strangers who would soon be our dear friends. The first week went by like watching a kettle boil, but after the first 7 days however, I blinked once and my time had come to an abrupt, unwanted end. How could 5 weeks go by so unimaginably fast? The 6 am. volleyball games & the late night walks to Wendy’s for chocolate frosty’s and fries were done. I had to say goodbye to people who had quickly become a second family to me. Were my evenings of sitting by the pond outside the chapel and talking so openly to Jesus really… done? I felt so close to Him there, would I really be able to take that closeness home with me? Back to the place where I was easily distracted and ungrounded? The answer, of course, was simple. Jesus gave up His life so we could have constant access to God & experience closeness with Him, no matter the place. Now Jesus used this Bible school drastically in my life, but His work was not limited to stay inside the chapel walls and didn’t suddenly end when I went outside the campus property line. As a Christian, Jesus lives inside me, and that means he isn’t JUST in church with me on Sunday mornings or JUST in a 5 week experience in Windsor Colorado, and if those brief snippets of time are the only moments I see Him than something is very wrong. He’s with me every second… wherever I go & I want His reflection to be what people see when they look at me. So the question is not, “What can God do in 44 days?” but rather.. “What can God do with someone fully yielded to Him EVERY day?” No matter where they are….
Do you know what we’d have to call a person who does that? I think we’d have to call them a Christian.
