Fishing Kayaking Seward Alaska

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Kayleigh and Chase chose a Seward boat elopement in late August, surrounded by Alaska’s mountains, glaciers, and beautiful coastal scenery. They wanted an intimate wedding day with their immediate families, a remote beach ceremony, and plenty of time to explore. The forecast called for heavy rain all day, but in classic Alaska fashion, the weather surprised us! Instead of a downpour, we got a light sprinkle and gorgeous, moody skies that made the landscape even more dramatic.

From a private first look at Miller’s Landing to their beach ceremony at Thumb Cove and exploring Resurrection Bay by water taxi, their wedding day was the perfect mix of adventure and intimacy.

First up in the series: Micah and Amanda at Miller’s Landing and Salted Roots Cabins in Seward. I’m so excited to share more from this trip, so stay tuned for what’s coming next.

Want a wedding day that looks like this? I plan, officiate, and photograph your whole elopement, so all you have to do is show up and say “I do.” Send me a message to start planning your adventure.

Now that Summer 2026 is officially a wrap, welcome to the photo dump. 🌞The highlights were Kayak-packing in Resurrection Bay 🗻(beyond-words-stunning!) and Ruby-girl 🐕and I's annual camping trip (this year we went fossil hunting on the Oregon Coast🐋). Now it's time for Fall leaves 🍁, classroom visits for "Found!," and hammering out a new project 📚💻(albeit, very slowly)!
