Welcome to E • Hain at OXI

The Hain, the principal ceremony of the Selknam, a now extinct people who inhabited the southernmost region of Patagonia at the tip of South America. In this isolated, cold and inhospitable territory, the Selknam practised a surprising body painting related to this ceremony.

Today we gladly present you the first part of our musical reinterpretation of Hain, a series of 3 ceremonies that will be taken place over the year.

[CTO] - 🇨🇭

[CTO] was submerged in underground electronic music ever since his earliest years. Being always keen towards firm kickdrums and assertive basslines, he went from listening to Drum and Bass and Psy-Trance, to finally finding his passion and devotion for Industrial, Rave and Hard Techno.
Playing at high BPMs, his purpose is to design a particular type of atmosphere where the crowd would feel like an unstoppable powerhouse, overflowing with energy as if existing in an action-packed dystopian movie.
Active in the Techno scene since 2015, [CTO] went from organising raves, to playing in clubs and festivals, to producing tracks using modular synthesisers. He has releases on notable labels such as COUP, Occult Rhythms and Insane Industry.
He is continuously striving to evolve his style by closely following the latest definition of heavy-hitting cutting-edge Techno.
You won't be disappointed.

Out Now ⚒🔔

As we hurtle towards 2023, we are ushering in a new era at Khazad Records, focusing on carefully curated releases from artists unburdened by the desire to appease the masses. These artists hold true to the core values of Khazad Records to provide straightforward groove-ridden powerful techno.

The first of these releases come from @millhousetechno , an Irish producer who now resides in Berlin. With over ten years of production experience, Millhouse has continuously shown a dynamic musical skill in producing machine-based techno which has seen him release on a host of respected labels.

The House Bells EP constitutes a divergence from the usual industrial focus of Khazad, but with such infectious grooves and hooks to enthral the listener, we could not ignore these tracks.

As the title of the EP suggests, the influence of House is everpresent throughout the 5 tracks. Millhouse has taken that influence and expertly twisted it into groove-focused techno that is beautifully crafted with depth and character.
