Spitalfields Festival: At Home will feature Fast Food, Fast Music - a series of short, fast pieces by nine emerging and established female composers.

To give you a taste of their work, we asked our composers to describe their piece in 280 characters, Twitter's famously short word limit...

"Presto Pasta is written for Violin(guine) and ra(Viola). It's fast and fun. And you've guessed it, it's about pasta. A few things happen during it: the cooking phase, the eating phase and finally the food coma. As well as playing their instruments, the performers sing and sigh." 🍝

The climax of our new piece "Murder in Medina" by our very own Tom Campbell, recorded in Fareham last night. The sound is obviously a bit percussion-heavy from this angle but it gives you a taste! We had a blast down in Fareham and are now now super excited for a packed out show in Worcester tonight.
