A bloody good jog 🏃‍♂️

A morning out with the @nzbloodservice to celebrate National Blood Donor Week 🩸 and help raise awareness of just how easy it is to donate
It’s a great cause that more of us need to get behind

The jog was a beautiful trot, followed by refreshments and refuelling before some of the crew rolled up their sleeves to donate, while others learnt about their blood type

We need to support those in need and help save lives
❤️❤️❤️

🥁 drumroll please…..
Welcome to our bathroom!!!

It’s so surreal to look back on how big of a project this was. We really have gone from what was a jump scare, wet, mouldy, leaky bathroom to a space we have created as our own and love.

When I said we originally did not want to renovate a bathroom and had that as one of our criteria’s while looking for our home, that was largely because we didn’t feel capable of doing so. It felt daunting, and we were scared to do it. But with A LOT of help from Millie’s brother Jack, we finally made it to the end. It was a huge project filled with stress, sweat, tears, laughs, daily trips to @mitre10nz and lots of late nights. But honestly, all the hard and stressful parts aren’t the parts we really look back on.

There are still finishing touches to be made, but with renovations on a budget, do you ever feel like you reach 100% completion?

Week Twenty One!
A local trail running adventure for the weekend 🏔️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻

We headed around the bays to go run the Packhorse Hut trail, it didn’t exactly go to plan but it was a great day out.

Highlights of Season 8 on film 🎞️

It’s not until we take a step back and then realise how great the season has been……

Running is our motive’ but the friendships, the memories and the experience is really what we are about

Only ✌🏽 weeks to go until race day

Week Seventeen!
Kōwhai Cottage boot camp episode one 💪🏼

On this episode, Coach Hamish put the three of us through the wringer with an EMOM as a warm up then AMRAP.

As you can see, there was some complaints and a lot of drama, but it was a great first of many workouts. We asked to ease in, I’m not sure we felt ‘eased’ in however, as Hamish pointed out, it’s as hard as you make it 😤

A group workout of some form has been added to the weekly schedule, so here are another two of Team Hamish’s prodigies 🤩
