All That Glitters (2026)
Directed by: Millie Taylor

A narrative short film where I worked as HOD Sound.

I worked closely with Malik Abidi, the sound recordist, throughout the production, helping to plan the sound approach and adapting our setup to the challenges we faced on set.

We initially worked with a Sennheiser K6 shotgun and G3 wireless system, alongside a Zoom F8 as our main field recorder. When some of our planned wireless equipment wasn’t working as expected, we had to quickly adapt the setup, using a Zoom H4e with an MKH416 and a double-boom approach to keep production moving.

Post-production involved a fair amount of noise reduction and dialogue cleanup, which presented another interesting challenge when bringing the location recordings together.

A great experience working with Malik and the wider crew, and another project that gave me valuable experience adapting to unexpected challenges both on set and in post.

Role: HOD Sound
Format: 10-minute narrative coming-of-age short (3rd Year BA(Hons) Television and Film Production)
Audio: Stereo
Equipment: Zoom F8, Zoom H4e, Sennheiser MKH 416, Sennheiser K6, G3 and G4 Lavs

Myself and Millie Clamp had the privilege of being interviewed by Falmouth University today to talk about our 3 years here, along with what projects we are working on at the moment. It was a great opportunity to talk about how much we have grown here at Falmouth and what we have achieved over the past 3 years.

A huge thanks to Luke Margetts and Kevin Moir for capturing the interviews and coming onto both of my sets: Face Value and All That Glitters, to capture behind the scenes content.

Looking forward to seeing the end results!

What an amazing experience and shoot to be apart of. We do not have nearly enough Instagram picture slots to begin to show all the people involved on this project and all the incredible sets we built.

We are incredibly honoured and excited to announce that When Stars Collide has been nominated for an @rtsdevoncornwall award in the ‘Drama’ category.

This is such a proud moment for everyone involved, especially considering this was a film created in the second year of our @tafatfalmouth course.

“None of this could’ve been achieved without the vigorous efforts of my wonderful team...” (Sylvia Goldberg)

Thank you to our donators and everyone involved, we can’t wait to attend!
