One week of ‘One Night Blues’ 🪩 this track began when I arrived to the studio early for a writing session and starting playing with ideas to work on, but I liked it too much to give away so I kept it for myself and @yoursdottruly and I turned it into this…

6 : 2 4 FAMILY ❤️

Love and appreciate everyone who’s been part of bringing this piece to life, making it so special.

Thank you @rritapula @maddycsquire @totobruin @hirokiberrecloth @josh.merara @humcreates for your commitment to this whirlwind of a show. What a moment. We really did that.

Thank you @emilycarewe @milly.rob for all the love and belief in this project. It’s crazy to think this started as a 10min baby and now we’re here??

And thank you to @annashort__ @chloewilson_sm @abi.brophytechnical for those long days. You really held it down.

All love to everyone who came and supported, or who couldn’t be there but wanted too. Feels like we’re only just getting started ❤️‍🔥

WE DID IT!

Mish Mash Festival 2026 over and out! Yesterday was the debut performance of ‘Can I Sit Down Please?’ and I just wanted to say a massive thankyou to everyone who came out to see it despite absolute tube chaos over the weekend.

The encouragement, support and belief in my little story has been overwhelming and I’m very lucky to have so many people along for the ride with me. From friends proofreading my script to housemates running lines with me, it has taken a village full of incredible people to help me get to where I am and I’m so proud of what we made. I laughed everyday in rehearsals and I’ve always believed that’s the best kind of theatre. And the best kind of friends.

Thankyou to @mishmash_festival @emilycarewe @milly.rob @lamdadrama for the incredible opportunity exactly when I needed it. I’ve been a writer all my life but only really properly felt it this weekend. I’m excited to see what I can do with all this stuff in my brain. And what a joy to do it all at LAMDA where everything started for me.

There just aren’t enough stories about people with disabilities on stage and I’m hoping this is just the beginning! Over and out… for now x
