PART 2 🌈 The secret to vivids that blend like butter 👇

Part 2 of our Mini Masterclass Series is here! SPHA alum Catey (@cateycuts from @bangsalonchicago) is back at @stevenpapageorgehairacademy breaking down placement and rinsing hacks:

✨ Pre-lay your vivid shades onto foil/wrap to shave minutes off your application
✨ Overlap each stripe slightly over the last so finger blending is seamless
✨ Over-direct sections forward around the face for a clean prism effect
✨ Rinse hack: Massage through the hardened direct dye dry before hitting it with water to save yourself hours at the bowl

At SPHA, you don’t just learn from our expert instructors and founder—we frequently feature guest speakers from premier, high-end salon partners so our students can build their network and gain real exposure while in school.

Visit stevenpapageorgehairacademy.com or head to the link in our bio to learn more about enrolling at our premiere, Chicago Hair Academy!💈✂️

My job has it's ups and downs but I'm forever grateful for the people I've met along the way.

With more popularity, followers, and exposure, comes more criticism, opinions, and hate honestly. It's been overwhelming for me to navigate through all of this but I'm figuring it out one day at a time. I'm not gonna make everyone happy. I might not be the right nail tech for you, and that's okay.

I'm thankful for the clients that have stuck with me from the beginning. I meet so many dope people everyday and y'all make it worth it. Faces new and old - I appreciate you. 💖

Working on this crazy dense, intense, non-binary translation of this three hour tragedy has brought me so much joy over the past 6 weeks. I love this work.
