What an evening in Dallas ✨ Last night I was at the JWE Dallas Launch, the very first event for The JWE’s new Dallas City Pod, held at Cantoni in Dallas. More than 150 women entrepreneurs and executives in one room, and the energy was unforgettable. Mimi Banks was so inspiring and encouraging. After 25+ years with major beauty brands, including L’Oréal, she built her own agency, and she spoke so openly about the risks, relationships and decisions it took to define success on her own terms. I left with a full notebook and a full heart. The food was amazing, the conversations were even better, and we got professional headshots taken right at the event (you will see mine 📸). I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such inspiring women. This is the Dallas community I love being part of, and it’s the same energy I bring to every client I help buy, sell or lease a home here. Thank you to The JWE and the Dallas City Pod team for an incredible launch. I can’t wait for the next one! Have you ever looked around at work and wondered, “What am I doing here? Do I actually belong in this room?” That’s imposter syndrome. 😳 It’s that nagging feeling that somehow you’ve fooled everyone into believing you’re more capable, qualified or accomplished than you really are. And here’s the thing: It doesn’t necessarily disappear with experience, seniority or success. In this clip from my conversation with Mimi Banks, founder of MB Social, on this week’s Skincarma Pod, we touch on something that resonates far beyond the beauty industry — the complicated relationship between professional confidence, self-doubt and the expectations we place on ourselves. After more than 30 years working in beauty, I’ve come to appreciate that confidence isn’t necessarily about having all the answers. Sometimes it’s about being willing to show up without them. Now I’m curious: What’s YOUR imposter syndrome story? Was there a moment in your career when you felt completely out of your depth? Or a time when you realized you actually knew more than you were giving yourself credit for? I’d love to hear it in the comments. 👇 🎙️ Catch Episode 98: “What Actually Makes You Buy Beauty Today? Mimi Banks on Beauty’s New Playbook” Listen to the full conversation on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Substack. 👩🏼‍💻 @mimibanks 🎙️ @skincarma x @skincarmanyc #TheSkincarmaPod #ImposterSyndrome #CareerConfidence #BeautyIndustry #ProfessionalGrowth Leadership

A referral might introduce someone to your practice, but your social media can help reinforce their decision. For @drazizzadeh, word of mouth remains his biggest source of referrals, but nearly every prospective patient checks his social media before their appointment. It’s not just about attracting new patients. It’s about reinforcing the credibility and trust that brought them there in the first place. 🎧 Listen to Dr. Babak Azizzadeh: Why Your Personal Brand Should Match Your Practice on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and wherever you get your podcasts!
