For the women who are told they're too much. I'm a Women's health practitioner. I see women day in, day out, who have so much internal anger, grief, trauma that they can never express. Women who have something to say but their voices have been silenced. And it's these women who I so often see struggle with period pain, with autoimmune conditions, with PMS with PMDD. It's like our bodies are fighting to be heard. (of course this isn't the case for everyone, or the whole cause, nor is it our fault!!) I can't tell you how many times I've been told this in relationships. Men who love my passion, my fire, my quick wit until it means they can't push my boundaries. Until I'm too opinionated. I'm not soft enough. Or I'm too 'emotional'. And I always think about my incredible friend @mimimaayan who told me "one day a man will build a cauldron for your fire" instead of trying to put it out. It's a phrase I hold on to often, and perhaps you might like it too. So please take this as your sign to express yourself, use your voice, harness your anger and let them go find less 🤷‍♀️. #forthegirls #forwomen #womenshealth #femalerage

@charlyfaye_ and @robyn_faye_ built this whole world before we filmed a single frame ♱ we had one day to rehearse the movement before shooting. everyone gave everything they had and devoted a lot of time to perfecting the routine. @charl_lucia improvised a movement piece that ended up carrying so much of the power in this video. @directedbylimb captured every everything so beautifully and the church let us in with so much warmth and became the most striking backdrop we could’ve asked for. i’m so proud of this one x Watch it at the link in my bio ♱ #altpop #selfproduced #musicvideo #catholicguilt #femalefilmmakers
