Oh man I couldn’t quite figure out how to word this…. 12 years ago I transferred to the school resource division and little did I know how big of an impact it would make on my life. My first day at @pjhagertyhighschool back in 2012 was just another day “on the job” for me, I thought. Full disclosure I was a graduate of Oviedo High School and had never really even heard of Hagerty, but right away I could tell there was something different about this place. I was immediately taken in as family and knew I found a home. 2 years later I began coaching weightlifting and later became an assistant athletic director and @christybryce and @jay.getty.16 took me under their wing and taught me want it means to be a Husky. The three of us instantly became a team. They taught me the importance of leading by example and always being the first ones in and the last ones out. Anyone that knows Christy knows she’s the friend to have cause she will call you out for slacking friends or not, and I appreciated that more than she’ll ever know. Along the way I have met so many amazing kids who have turned into amazing adults and I am proud to have played a small roll in their lives. I can’t even begin to list all the amazing experiences I have had through all these years. Pep rally’s, homecoming dances, proms, graduations, coaching powder puff, coaching the inaugural flag football team, field trips, football games, volleyball games, baseball and softball, state champions, award ceremonies, senior pranks, senior switch days….. The good times and the bad have all made an impact on my life, and for that I am grateful. It was my honor to serve this community for so many years. This is not goodbye, this is see you later, and as always…. Gooooooo HUSKIES!!!!

ps. I’ll see everyone for practice in October we have a weightlifting state championship to win!!!!
