𝙇𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙇 𝙐𝙋 𝙂𝘼𝙈𝙀𝙎 2026🩵💪✨📈😮‍💨

We are blown away by every single one of our members who participated yesterday in the annual Member games.

These ATHLETES pushed outside of their comfort zones, and had moments when they questioned whether they could keep going, get one more rep, or finish that workout. And yet…they each stepped onto that floating floor and MADE IT HAPPEN.

That floating floor saw A LOT of love yesterday.

Without each and every one of our members & staff, this place would not be the magical place that it is.

Stay tuned for Finals announcement tomorrow👀📣

✨ MOMMYS FIRST FITNESS COMPETITION ✨

Yesterday I competed for the first time in my gyms members only fitness competition!

I walked into Burn Pittsford for the first time in March of last year, 55lbs heavier, and 18mo post partum with the worlds worst PPD known to man.

I couldn’t do a burpee, or run without getting gassed out immediately. I modified everything down. The weights were small when I started, but guess what —- they were in my hands. 💙

Today, I thank the woman who showed up for herself 18 months ago for the first time. I thought about her during every heat. Would she be proud of us? I think so.

My goal for the Level Up Games was simple - just do it.

do it scared, nervous, frustrated — whatever the case just do it and finish as strong as you can. don’t back out - make ZERO excuses - just hit the gas and go.

I finished the metcon heat in 7 minutes (time limit of 12 minutes) which is insane considering I was pretty nervous about that one - and even though I got time capped for the last two heats I am just so proud of myself for showing up.

The best part though? Seeing my family there to cheer me on and especially my daughter on the sidelines doing her best burpee impression alongside me. When we got home she told me “mommy was getting strong doing her exercises!” And it just made my heart melt.

This competition was absolutely everything. It was so hard but soooo worth it. I’ve def set new goals for myself to hit in this upcoming year in preparation for the next one - and idk maybe I caught the competition bug 😂💙

Also shout out to my bby Mina Kessler who joined Burn with me just 5 months ago and didn’t even blink when I told her we should do the Games together. I’m so proud of you you absolutely crushed it yesterday 💙

Cheers to getting stronger. Xx

Mina Kessler said that while her marriage ended in divorce, images and memories from that day allow her to still recall the happiness of the occasion, including her decision to have her grandmother walk her down the aisle.

With her installation at BTG Farmhouse, her hope is that through her personal moments and memories others can relate and insert themselves into their own moments and memories that impacted them.

Mina’s work is featured alongside photographer @taliconic at @farmhousetablemidtown on the second floor until Sunday, September 27th. You can hear more about Mina and her work on this month’s episode, “Why Memories Matter” link in bio or search Behind the Glass Gallery wherever you listen to your podcasts.

Mina Kesler (she/her) is a Rochester-based multimedia artist working over the years with photography and video, and most recently projection mapping. Rooted in nostalgia, her work explores the colorful, fragmented nature of memory—blurring the lines between what was, what might have been, and what we imagine. Through playful imagery and immersive experiences, she invites viewers to step inside moments that feel familiar and dreamlike.

Come see Mina’s work alongside Tali this First Friday, September 4, 2026, between 6:00 - 8:00pm.
