Fundraiser update / gratitude post: A little over a week ago, we celebrated the release of Merciless Accelerated Rhythms Vol. II, with two shows at @union_pool . We collaborated with @hidingplacesband, who took this benefit event to another level.

The comp features over 60 artists, whose music has raised more than $1,300 in donations for @thepcrf since its release! We raised additional funds for PCRF (more than $200) through merch sales and the generous donations of baked goods, handmade pottery, beautiful embroidery pieces, and local honey from some amazing friends at last week’s show.

Ticket sales from the show raised $2,490 for @southbrooklynsanctuary, an incredible organization that works with immigrants who cannot afford attorneys (they are looking for volunteers btw!)

Huge thanks to Hiding Places, Union Pool, Cakes by Katya, Sarah, Tori, Mia, those who contributed songs, and everyone who attended and played the show. Additional huge thanks to those who purchased the comp and merch, and to South Brooklyn Sanctuary for speaking at the event.

The comp is still available on Bandcamp (link in bio), and we’ll have the shirts and totes for sale at our shows. All proceeds from the MAR comp and merch is donated directly to the PCRF.

Thanks for being part of this with us. And thanks for donating to these two important causes. See you at our next show on 10/4! (Details soon)

If you know us, then you probably recognize this sweet face. Last Thursday we said goodbye to our dear Tenzin. Obviously, it was absolutely crushing to let him go. Still feels heavy and sad, but healing and reflecting are happening as well.

I feel very lucky to have had him in my life. He’s the best dude. 🙏🏻✨

We miss you buddy. I’ll be sure to knock over a flower vase now & again in your honor. ❤️

“Spread love, it’s the Tenzin way… “
