We recently visited Hotville in Uxbridge, London. A new halal Nashville spot on the high street and they are doing 30% off offer on Uber Eats perfect for anyone going to school or university this Autumn.

With a 4.8 google rating, what made this place stand out is how hot the chicken were, it was crispy, spicy and with that distinctly smoky sweetness to it with that rich oily finish. Spice levels can be moderated but would recommend the spicy level to get that full flavour experience.

My favourite was the Hotville Burger with slaw and the generously big tenders, which goes very well with hot honey and ranch sauce. There is also a Waffle Stack, which gives it a sweet taste against the chicken.

They also do loaded fries, which comes with Mac & cheese and Nashville chicken alongside Mozzarella Melt with the cheese just never ending.

We headed down to the new Hotville branch in Uxbridge and honestly… I think I’ve officially been converted to a Nashville chicken girly 👀😂

Here’s what we ordered:

Dual Combo – £12.95
Slider Combo – £9.50
Macville Burger – £8.50
Mac N Cheese – £3.95
Mega Loaded Fries – £9.95
Hot Spicy Dipped Burger – £7.50

The Dual Combo came with chips, Texas toast, pickles, honey mustard and tenders — super filling and perfect if you’re hungry! The chicken was freshly made and the Hotville burger was really tasty too.

The Slider Combo was decent and such an easy meal if you’re after something simple but satisfying.

Now the Macville Burger… 😮‍💨 This was something ELSE. Chicken burger, coleslaw, mac & cheese and salad all stacked into one BIG burger. It was absolutely loaded and honestly unreal.

The Mac N Cheese was really nice too, it was creamy with a good amount of seasoning and spice for extra flavour.

BUT my favourite had to be the Mega Loaded Fries!!😍😍😍😍😛

Chicken, mac & cheese and chips all together… I’ve never had loaded fries like this before and they were AMAZINGGGG. Definitely something I’d order again!

And the Hot Spicy Dipped Burger — well, the name says it all 🔥 It had a proper kick but was still really tasty, especially if you like your food with a bit of spice.

Overall, everything was SO good and the service was amazing too. Everyone was really welcoming and accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. I’m definitely coming back to Hotville again soon!

The restaurant is very accessible near the Chimes in Uxbridge- it’s only a 3 minutes walk from Uxbridge tube station.

The staff was so kind and helpful, everything was really efficient.

The portion sizes are really generous and it’s good pricing, we basically got a burger, loaded fries and 2 wings and a drink for £16- you can easily share this with 2 people

The milkshakes were SOOOO good I would come back just for this, they were thick and creamy. My friend got the Oreo one and I tried the Reese’s Peanut butter one and it’s my first time trying that flavour and it was sooooo nice- not sickly sweet

I loved the loaded fries they were so tasty and saucy

Everything tasted fresh and I’d definitely come back- the 30% off is available when you order via uber eats for the next 30 days.

The why behind Yaps & Laps 🤎

The Documented Life has always been about creating space to check in with yourself. Sometimes that looks like sitting down with your journal. Sometimes it looks like getting outside, moving your body and having a conversation you didn’t know you needed.

That’s really where Yaps & Laps came from.

Because journaling has taught us that reflection doesn’t only happen on paper. Sometimes we process life by writing it out, and sometimes we need to walk it out, talk it out and hear a perspective outside of our own.

So we created a space for both, a little movement, a lot of yapping, and room to connect.l with good food @chaiiwala

Same TDL mission. Just outside the pages in a low pressure environment that’s requires almost no prep 🤎
