THE SPACE BETWEEN is more than just an album to me. It is a time capsule showing how much closer you truly are to where you want to be than you think.

It is a place that was created to always remind me that time is never on my side unless I make it be. On the surface, time is a neutral force that progresses forward regardless of what transpires during any given moment. Good or bad. I used to find this fact extremely terrifying. As if I was wasting my “best years” living my life for other people. It made me feel like the happiness and fulfillment that I desired was only possible in a future that would take decades to get to. A fleeting concept that would require many chapters of my life to be sacrificed for. I realized through this self imposed dimming of my own light that I was chasing a dream that wasn’t even mine to begin with. And with that realization, I was able to bring my future into the present.

The things that I wanted for myself, the connections that I wanted to make, the freedom of expression that I yearned for… were all tangible in the here and now. Something that I only was able to attain once I started reclaiming the time that always belonged to me to in the first place. These lives we were blessed with are precious and my hope is that 10 years from now, you’re not still questioning what it all really means… but that these songs empower you to loosen your grip on a pipe dream sold to you by someone else… one that you may never feel happy in… and leave it all on the floor as you dance the time away for TODAY. Future you will thank you for allowing this SPACE BETWEEN to become… not a prison… but the launch pad for where you have always been meant to go in this life. #newartist #altrnb #alternativernb #newalbum #independentartist
