Every time I visit St. Pete, I LOVE all the opportunities to shop local. I always make it a point to stop by the @stpetepier and love if my trip coincides with when the @saturdaymorningmarket.stpete is in season. It’s truly a city that supports local artists, shops, and creativity. Once the team moves to Tampa, the local businesses are going to be what I miss the most about being in St. Pete.

For this trip, it was my first time staying right next to the Central Arts District, which also just so happens to be walking distance to the Trop. I had no idea this area has so many cool stores! I never really had the opportunity to explore Central Avenue up to this point, but I will definitely be staying by that area my next time back in St. Pete and devoting an entire day to shopping.

Here are all the local odds and ends I picked up during this trip. Not everything was from the Central Arts District, but doesn’t everything just make sense as being very obviously from St. Pete?! I certainly think so.

Truly I am so grateful for humans that create community for connection, growth, play, and whimsy. Happy 3 year anniversary to Movement Monday!!! Thank you for this consistent “I’m actually looking forward to Monday” recurring plan on the calendar … all while providing a sober playground for joy?!? AND I CAN BRING MCLAREN DISCO??
