I saw @adamantofficial last night. I’d never seen him before and it was such a wild sensation feeling like a 10 year old again hopping up and down like an idiot w my friend, Diana. I grew up a child of (early) Mtv not a child with helicopter parents. I obsessed OBSESSED over Adam Ant. I always thought I’d be a singer …and I got to be one. I met almost alllll of the wonderful family I have through music. Seeing it, playing and depending on my band mates as one would a family when mine was only loosely hanging in. Suddenly last night I felt so much gratitude to Adam Ant and @thespecials for showing me another way. This afternoon we sadly say goodbye to our longtime Alamo delivery driver and friend, Jesse Rivera Jr. He passed away suddenly a few weeks ago. He was a hardworking, dedicated employee who had intentions of working at Alamo until he retired. Jess, as I called him, loved to go fishing. We’ll be casting our lines soon and remembering our sweet Jesse 🕊️
