There are moments that remind you just how much your past shapes your future❤️🤍💙

This week, I had the privilege of returning to my alma mater, Kilgore College, not as a Rangerette, but as a chaperone for my daughter and nearly 200 incredible young dancers from 7th grade through high school attending Rangerette Dance Camp.

What made it even more special was experiencing it alongside my best friend and fellow Rangerette Forevers (alumni). There’s something incredibly meaningful about returning to a place that helped shape who you are with the people who lived those same memories with you. The friendships forged during those years truly are forever friendships, and picking up right where we left off reminded me just how lasting that sisterhood is.

Walking those halls again brought back so many memories. The long practices, the early mornings, the relentless pursuit of excellence, the friendships, and the discipline it took to earn the privilege of wearing the the Red White and Blue. At the time, I thought I was simply learning to dance.

Looking back, I realize I was learning so much more.

The Rangerette program taught me commitment, resilience, attention to detail, professionalism, teamwork, and how to perform under pressure. Those lessons have stayed with me every step of the way and continue to shape who I am today as a real estate agent.

Real estate may look very different than precision dance, but the mindset is remarkably similar. Success comes from preparation, consistency, hard work, communication, and showing up for people with excellence every single day.

Watching these young women create memories of their own while sharing this experience with my daughter and watching her begin a journey at a place that means so much to me has been something I’ll never forget. It reminded me that the investments we make in our children today often become the foundation they build their futures upon.

Some places become part of your story forever. Kilgore College will always be one of mine.

Forever grateful to be a Rangerette. Forever thankful for the lifelong friendships it gave me. And forever proud to watch the next generation discover what they’re capable of.

No trip to Paris is complete without butter shopping. Trust me on this.

What makes French butter so special? It’s not just a cooking staple here—it’s an art form. French butter is richer and creamier thanks to its higher fat content (at least 82%, compared to 80% elsewhere), but there’s another secret: it’s cultured.

Unlike regular butter, French butter is made from cream that’s been fermented slightly with live bacteria cultures. This process gives it a deeper, tangy flavor that’s downright addictive. The result? Butter that doesn’t just enhance a dish—it steals the show.

Many of the best French butters also carry the Appellation d’Origine Protégée (AOP) label, like Beurre d’Isigny and Beurre de Charentes-Poitou, which guarantees their quality and origin.

4 years ago, I took a leap with no roadmap, no “perfect plan,” and no idea what the next step would be. It was scary. It was freeing. And it taught me that you don’t need to have it all figured out to create a life you love.

Thanks to my beautiful friends who have made each location feel like home by joining me along the way and reminding me that well-being and happiness has a lot more to do with the people you surround yourself with than an exact location. Though…the location certainly helps. 🙂

If you’re feeling uncertain or anxious about what’s next, just know this: the magic happens when you step into the unknown. It’s where you grow, where you find your strength, and where life surprises you in the best ways. ✨

As a celebration of hitting the four year milestone this weekend, I’ll be sharing some lessons, highs and lows, and reflecting on what I’ve learned from 4 years of nomadic life. Because sometimes, not having a set plan is exactly where you’re meant to be.

We don’t know how life is going to unfold, and there is no one set roadmap.

For anyone who feels lost or unsure—you are never stuck, and it’s never too late to pivot, pack up your things, make a change, or follow your heart to new horizons, even if it’s all in your own. 🫶
