March wasn’t my favorite month of the year but it also wasn’t terrible. Keeping my mental health in check every day was a big priority… protecting my energy… spending time trying my best to raise my vibration. I had a good bit of girl time, lots of yogi time, branched out a bit, had our last big learning weekend in YTT before finals in April. We also had that little tornado in my neck of the woods that I completely panicked over and felt the echo of for almost an entire week afterwards. It randomly snowed again and then I got to wear shorts again. Maryland spring weather always proves to be a pain in the ass. I spent a LOT of time studying… finished my breathwork training and even enjoyed practicing yin yoga. I somehow even got back in the gym. Spring get a little busier than winter and I definitely felt the shake up of that outward energy blooming. Grateful for the pockets of joy and all the little moments worth remembering 🙏🏼

It’s always such a blast to celebrate with @glennlawson and the @lawsonfenning team for any reason and even more so for the launch of something as impressive and inspired as the new Bosque collection. Proud boo over here 🙋🏻‍♂️🫶🏼✨

The past 6 months with this talented and soulful group of women was an absolute dream. The most grounding rollercoaster… full to the brim with growth, connection, continual practice, devotion, support, and love. It’s such an honor to help bring new yoga teachers into the world alongside the best teacher trainer co-leaders - Heather & Gabby.

I’m so thankful to be alive at the same time as this magical community of women and grateful to be a witness in their beautiful lives unfolding.

Beyond that, I’m at a loss for words while I integrate how impactful and special this YTT program was to me this year. My first full 200 hour cohort… just, wow ☺️

It is with so much excitement that I announce your newest 200-hour certified yoga instructors 🥳

as impressive as that sounds it doesn’t even begin to capture the dedication, heart, courage, and hard work these women poured into this experience.

This group is beyond special. These women are supportive, devoted, hilarious, honest, brave, and deeply bonded. 🌺

It has been the greatest pleasure to guide them, and many times, to be guided right back to my own heart by their presence. 💞

We are bonded for life, and the world is better because of the ripples they are about to make in every unique place they go. 🌎 🌊

YOU DID IT. WE DID IT!!!!!! 🫂

The gift of watching new ytt students begin their journey nervous and excited and over 6 months grow and awaken into powerful, compassionate, connected teachers is profound, humbling, joyful, and my greatest blessing.

Congratulations to this OMazing YTT cohort. Their hearts are as beautiful as their smiles. Come see them at THE pearl teaching our $10 community classes starting in June!

2025 was undeniably rich with purpose and passion.

When it comes to the work I do, not only was it the biggest and most abundant part of my life this year, but it came with such immense growth as a teacher and as a student. Opportunities I’ve been patiently manifesting and dreaming up since 2018 bloomed this past calendar year for me as well.

I taught 332 classes,
25 workshops,
13 privates,
3 summer camp sound sessions,
2 speaking events,
1 sunrise yoga for FRAC in DC,
1 collab with Lulu at the Columbia mall,
2 RETREATS (spring + fall),
2 full to the brim weekends co-leading YTT alongside @enlightened_yoga and @gabburd8 ♥️♥️
and officially became certified to teach QiGong.

Honestly, the most abundant career season so far and my heart feels so expansive from it all as I look back.

In years prior, I’ve made 4-5 separate reels to share my year through the rewind process. This year, I’m aiming for just 2. Almost feels like a depiction of a double life sharing it in 2 separate ways - but I know in my heart that all of it has honestly integrated into this one big beautiful life that I’ve created and get to enjoy ♥️

I really combed through everything to reflect on 2025 - old posts and story archives, photos in my phone, my planner, my journal… and while the reflections are a bit too in depth to fit in a caption space… the videos and photos have been chosen more intentionally than in the past.

Thank you, 2025, for yoga, Qigong, movement, and sound healing… for asking me to show up bolder and brighter than ever before, and for the incredible supportive community at THE pearl spa. Extra big gratitude and love to my sweet Heather for hiring me 2 years ago and becoming one of the most special people in my world. Thank you 🙏🏼

YTT weekend #2 flowed so beautifully 🥹

Sharing time and space and energy with this group always leaves me with a feeling of immense gratitude, over every other feeling that shows up. It’s leaves me feeling inspired and in awe of the magic I have the privilege of witnessing in real time. Those moments when the student becomes the teacher and shows up to lead and share with confidence, with heart, with knowing, with fear of messing up or not being enough… but stepping forward anyway. The moments where we all collectively KNOW and TRUST that our voices, our listening, our hands on assisting, our bodies moving, our space holding, our breathing in and out… are all just messengers from our hearts. And what a REAL feeling that is to be had. To be witnessed. To have our hearts and intentions felt and seen and understood and supported… just as we are— in our beautifully authentic, messy, imperfect human embodiments.

I’ll never forget my own 200 hour teacher training. The belonging that I felt within that cohort and within the yoga community as a whole. The sense of peace and trust it brought into my life. The self-love and acceptance. The compassion. The way it allowed me to find my own light… and to become.

When you sign up for a yoga teacher training… it isn’t just some random choice. It’s a deep longing, an inner knowing, the path of seeking… something more. There’s no room to keep hiding or find comfort from your old patterns that try to join you on this spiritual and yogic journey. It’s devotion and consistency with yourself and with that which is beyond yourself, your mind, and your ego.

It’s a gift… AND it will only show up to meet you as far as you’re willing to and honest about meeting yourself.

Packing our bags for a week in Maine to visit family, and I’m struck by just how many beautiful trips we’ve been able to take because of the generosity of friends and family who’ve opened their homes to us. ⁣
⁣
These moments—these weekends away—are the foundation of some of our most treasured memories.⁣
⁣
I’m reminded of a story RuPaul shared in his book “The House of Hidden Meanings” about, as a boy, sitting on a blanket with his sister Renetta eating peanut butter cookies she brought for them. Instead of just stating the obvious of “cookies on a blanket,” she gave it meaning by calling it a picnic, transforming something simple into an experience filled with magic. That story feels so true to life: we create the magic all around us by giving it special meaning wherever we can find it.
⁣
For the past few years, our little family of three has been traveling in this spirit, finding joy in shared meals, deep conversations, laughter-filled nights, and exploring beautiful places. Each trip—whether it’s to the mountains, a cozy neighborhood nearby, or a seaside retreat—has sparked incredible adventures and left us filled with gratitude.⁣
⁣
These experiences have shaped us, especially our daughter, who’s become a professional traveler herself. She lights up when we stay in friends homes, connecting with new surroundings and the people we hold dear.⁣ Forming special bonds and lasting relationships.
⁣
So this is a love letter and a thank you to the friends and family who have housed us, welcomed us, and shared your spaces. You’ve given us more than a place to stay; you’ve given us core memories, stories we’ll tell for a lifetime, and the reminder that magic is something we create together.⁣
⁣
Here’s to travel, community, and the extraordinary beauty of sharing life with the people you love.⁣
