1st Half Marathon ✅

Somehow a couple months ago I let my sister in law @kd.lund talk me into training for a half marathon (I must have been drunk bc idk how i let her convince me to do this). I told her I would do it and we’ve been training our butts off since November. Never in my life did I ever think I would be running over 13 miles but I did and it was the most challenging, yet rewarding days of my life.

The race was in Zion National Park and it was such a beautiful run with beautiful people. I cried a lot through training and even during the race. so won’t be posting my finish line video bc i was a wreck and crying as i passed the line.

But i do want to thank everyone who supported me through this and cheered me on, and i want to especially thank @kd.lund for pushing me out of my comfort zone and getting me to try something new and challenge myself. I did something i never thought i could do. and i might even do another one this year.

One of the things i learned during this is it’s never too late to to try something new, never tell yourself you can’t do anything bc yes it may be hard, but you really can do it if you put your mind to it.

Cheers to crushing one of my New Year’s resolutions 🥂
