Haven’t had a fam reunion since 2018. It was good to take my kids back home to have a weekend filled with love, laughter, fun, support, cousins, and intentional relationships. #familyreunion #winsleyfamilyreunion #winsleyfamilytree #cousintrip #mississippiboy #stankinrankin #truevinembchurch #brandonms #lastcallsportsbarandgrill #mendenhallms

Catch Dr. Jocelyn Slaughter-Moore of The Healthy Woman Snellville OBGYN on this month’s @grlsgive Fireside Chat where she discusses her journey as an OBGYN!

Repost from @mindy_stella

I had the honor of interviewing my own OB/GYN, Dr. Slaughter of @thehealthywomanga for the next @grlsgive fireside chat. Because of the care I received from Dr. Slaughter and her amazing team, I was able to carry both Kairo and Zhuri to term while dealing with gestational hypertension both times and developing eclampsia 2 weeks AFTER delivering Zhuri. I am excited to use this next interview to bring awareness to the differences between the care that African American women receive during and after pregnancy to that of other races/nationalities. Because of her, I have my babies Kairo and Zhuri and I will forever be grateful! 🩷

You can watch the video on the the Grls Give Atlanta YouTube channel; “Fireside Chat with The Healthy Woman’s Dr. Jocelyn Slaughter, MD”

Thank you Mindy for spotlighting Dr. Slaughter!
