“COLLISION”

This series celebrates the beauty of imperfection through handcrafted steel shelves, embodying a dual identity as both artefact and stage. Inspired by the raw energy of a collision, each piece offers a platform to honour cherished objects.

Designed for collectors, ’Collison‘ blends metal’s refined sophistication with nature’s untamed beauty, reflecting a global trend toward authentic design. Crafted with steel tubing, the horizontal planes balance form and function, elevating treasured possessions. Once in place the craftsmanship and object narratives merge in a quiet dialogue, resonating with today’s appreciation of the value of imperfection.

“What After Graduated?”, 2023.

I ask 63 artists of @lcclondonphoto @lcclondon during their graduation show: ”what’s your plan after graduation?” and as soon as they hear the question, I press the shutter. Inspired by @peter_fraser9 ‘s methodology in his project Mathematics.

Having no intention to disturb their excitement during the exhibition, I regard this collection of photos, first and foremost, as a reminder of a golden memory. The graduation show, however, appears to me as a complex occasion interwoven with emotions ranging from joy, pride, and camaraderie to feelings of anxiety, goodbyes, uncertainty, and cynicism. This is my attempt to capture this complexity.

I hope we all become who we dream of being in the coming future.
