Three very different supper clubs coming up! The first is at my home with just eight places at the table. Six courses, including a welcome drink, eating whilst looking out onto the garden that inspired the meal. Second is a collaboration with @mini_chef_makes. I cook a four course lunch for the adults, while Catherine feeds and entertains the children. And thirdly back to my regular spot at @stanleyarts.uk for a six-course supper clubs coming tasting menu. This one is Japanese food inspired. All three will have fish and seafood from Crystal Palace’s @fishmongers_plaice and cheese from South Norwood’s @littlemousecheese. All can be booked via my website. Supper clubs | south east London | Anerley | Penge | Crystal Palace | food and drink | tasting menu

Thank you so much to everyone involved in the Ivy House show last week, including the staff, our super cool door person and everyone who came to watch. Some of you drove in from out of town, good heavens. It was unexpected to have such a large and attentive audience, and so great to have lots of old and new friends come out. All the musicians (and our guest conductor) played incredibly well and the sets from the @southlondondrone orchestra and @flolines were wonderful. It's very gratifying that a handful of conversations with a couple of people about what kind of music stuff would be cool to do a bit over a year ago has turned into this sort of thing. Also to note, the drone orchestra was bigger than it looks there were some people playing at floor level. More stuff soon, DIY forever etc. x

It’s our Family Supper Club on Sunday 17th May and we’d love you to join us for fun-packed, relaxing lunch with your children. Yes, that sounds like a contradiction in terms, but @mini_chef_makes and I are determined to combine the two and give pushed parents a space where they can enjoy my seasonal supper club menu, while their children are entertained, fed and play in front of them. See our bios for links to the tickets (an adult must come with at least one child and vice versa). The images and videos are from our October supper club, which was Halloween themed. The fish is sourced from @fishmongers_plaice and the cheese from @littlemousecheese. Exciting news: Crystal Palace’s @mini_chef_makes and I have teamed up to put on a family supper club, where adults can experience a lunchtime four-course supper club (cooked by me), while their children have lunch and enjoy activities provided by Mini Chef Makes, all at @mini_chef_makes HQ in Crystal Palace (pictured in all the non-food photos). Childcare issues can keep people away from the supper club and I often get asked if I could do a daytime supper club where children are welcome, so here it is - but with some great stuff for the kids too. It’s a double win! The first one will be on Saturday 25th October (11.30am to 2.30pm) and we hope to do a family supper club each season. Please pass it on to anyone who you think will be interested. Book via bio 🎟️ £45 for an adult (BYOB) and £25 for a child. (The food photos are from my last supper club and the lunch menu will be seasonal and revealed on the day.) Whether it’s the man who raised you, a friend who’s become a father figure, or even a mother who juggled it all, many of us have a “dad” in our lives. 🦸‍♂️ Whoever it is, you probably want to show them how grateful you are this Father’s Day. Even if your budget has other ideas! The good news is that saying “thank you” doesn’t need to break the bank. In fact, most of the most memorable gifts cost nothing at all. 💭
