First place?? 🥲 FIRST PLACE!?! I can’t remember the last time I won ANYTHING. This was such a fun, and frustrating at times, project that took me around 200 hours. The biggest project to date and this mf won first place. I’m so happy. And just like that, my hearts wish was heard the next comp is already up and running. Which I will be entering. Naturally. 😊 As much time as I spent building and painting, none of it wouldn’t have come together without some of my favorite things: Brushes - @grave.forge 💎 Terrain - @make_it_epic @eonsofbattle @goonmastergames @mekkaminiatures @gamersgrass @vallejocolors Paint - @akinteractive.official Mentor - @miniaturesden @warhammerofficial

@jaimedegarnicaminiatures beautiful GD wip warboss I have been ogling the works of all you fine artists and was curious how rbe various colors would look with filters applies to approximate my army scheme. I had hit a bit of a slump. Since the release of Warhammer 40k: Armageddon i have been saving all manner of orkish works into a painting inspiration bucket. Having first tried basic filters on the phone I realised that I had Licenses for Serriff's Affinity suite. (No photoshop for this girlie) To my surprise, I discovered that fhe whole thing has been released for free now since the acquisition by Canva. I see you @canva *tips hat* So with the whole suite being free I set to work with some Filters to see how these amazing creations wouls look if they were in my "black light world" As it turns out a lot goes back green! 🤣 so I played around with one filter for the sking and another for the armor. What you see before you is the imagined (with real tools) versions of these fantastic works in an approximation of my scheme. What do you think which one looks best? Would you pick other colors for the armor/equipment/and weapons? To address the clickbaity title: is this more inspiration or Plagiarism? #new40k #warhammercommunity #paintingwarhammer #coolminis #conceptart Bad moon boy by @miniaturesden I have been ogling the works of all you fine artists and was curious how rbe various colors would look with filters applies to approximate my army scheme.
