this is already the 10th episode of my bi-monthly show «Nebbia Rosa» on @radioraheem.milano with which also the second year of my residency comes to an end! as you do not hear anything else from me musically than what I stream through this radioshow (a little hint that i’m still a dj and available for bookings ^^), make sure to tune in and listen to some freshly dug new (and older) stuff. Calissa Teiniker pushes the boundaries of how knitwear can behave and look through sculptural forms that follow the natural subtleties of the body. Some of her collections include From Demons to Desires, where she reimagines each of the seven deadly sins as an outfit; Second Skin, where @g10.collective invited her to produce a collection and her latest collection, Blow Up, as part of her Masters degree in Knitwear design — using the IUD as an object of inspiration to design a look based on its use for protection and reimagining it as external armor.
