🎨✨ IT’S HERE! ✨🎨

The delivery for our Magic Painting Workshop has arrived! 📦💕

Thanks to the incredible support we received during our Mini Me summer fundraiser for the residents living with dementia at Sutton Rose Care Home, we’ve been able to turn your generosity into something really special — a fun, relaxing and creative magic painting workshop for the residents to enjoy. 🥰🎨✨

Inside the delivery are lots of magic painting books with a variety of themes, so there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy, along with jigsaw puzzles and colouring books for the home to keep and enjoy afterwards. 🧩🎨🌸

We’ve chosen a mixture of designs and difficulty levels so residents can pick something that interests them and work at their own pace. 💕

I can’t wait to get everything together and bring the Magic Painting Workshop to the home! 🥰

Thank you again to everyone who donated, supported and helped make this possible. ❤️

What does reading mean to you… in one word?

At @minimeroleplay, we turned the question to the grown-ups.

As parents, it’s easy to spend so much time investing in our children that we forget to invest a little time in ourselves.

Reading can help us, escape, imagine, learn, create and recharge, at any age.

So we asked the parents one simple question:

“What does reading mean to you in one word?”

Because reading isn’t just for children.

So now we’re asking you…

👇 In ONE word, what does reading mean to you?

Drop your word in the comments.

Thank you to the @literacy_trust and @go_all_in_2026 for helping so many bigger readers fall in love with reading.

ONE LAST ADVENTURE AT MINI ME!

Yesterday we joined the brilliant team at @minimeroleplay Children’s Role Play Centre for one final Tuck adventure before they close the doors at their current location.

We brought Tuck’s Big Ocean Clean-Up to life with storytelling, games, activities, plenty of smiles and, most importantly, lots of brilliant little adventurers getting involved!

This video captures just a few moments from the sessions and the fun we had together.

A huge thank you to Mini Me for welcoming Tuck into their world and allowing us to create some lovely memories with the families who came along.

We’re wishing the whole Mini Me team all the very best for whatever comes next.

And a small apology for the camera quality on this one! 😅 Our new camera is officially on the way, so hopefully the next Tuck adventures will be looking a little sharper!

We’ve had the most amazing summer fundraising for the wonderful residents of Sutton Rose Care Home who are living with dementia. 💕🌸

Helen, owner of Mini Me Roleplay, has been running her fantastic Starting School sessions for children joining Reception in 2026, and throughout the summer I’ve been joining her to sell raffle tickets and help raise money for the care home. 🎟️✨

Our fabulous raffle hamper included three Starting School books donated by me, a beautiful teddy from Emma at Popping Creations 🧸 and a £20 Cookie Crumb & Co voucher from Sarah. 🍪

🎉 Well done to Natasha on your win! We hope you enjoy your hamper!

We raised £311, plus an incredibly generous last-minute £100 cash donation on the day of the draw, taking us to an amazing £411! A huge thank you to the kind gentleman who donated — your generosity means so much. ❤️

The money will help fund activities and treats for the residents, including a magic painting workshop that I’ll be running, as well as books, games and jigsaws. 🎨📚🧩 The care home will also decide how best to use the remaining funds, with ideas including special experiences such as a show or a meal out for residents and their families. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, donated, supported or shared our fundraiser — and to Helen, Emma and Sarah for your generosity. 🥰

We couldn’t have done it without you! 💕

😭💔 Come with us to set up at Mini Me Roleplay… one last time.

After so many memories, little adventures and special sessions, we were back at Mini Me Roleplay for our very last Starting School session before they closed their doors. 🥹

There’s something so bittersweet about setting everything up knowing it’s the final time. From getting the room ready to creating those little details that make the session so special… we wanted to soak up every moment. 🎒✏️📚

Come behind the scenes with us for one last setup at Mini Me Roleplay. ❤️

Who else is going to miss this place as much as we do? 😭👇

Don't forget all my books are now 20% off and any starting school books I have reduced to 50% off so pop me a message if you see anything you like.
