SUSHI CLASS in the heart of Tsukiji fish market 🐟 Always a highlight of the tour. We meet our master sushi chef for the day and they explain all about the history of sushi in Japan then we get stuck in to making our very own by hand. Citadel Season 2 out now 🎉✨ • I was Operating C Camera on this show.. I watched the first few episodes a couple of days ago, wondering how many shots might make it into the cut.. being C Cam, sometimes it’s only a handful… turns out, Joe Russo loves a choppy edit! Which makes sense - more often than not, most of our scenes (no matter how big or small), were a three camera set up. Which led to some creative thinking. Geoff Hayley was leading the troop on A Camera, whilst Matt Poynter was on B - both of which had obvious priority for lighting by the lovely Tom Sigal. I’d have to find some furniture to hide behind, or squeeze underneath - or perhaps something really long lensy and obscure. Sometimes I’d find myself watching a blocking, seeing where Geoff would place himself, observe how Tom planned to tackle lighting and think to myself there’s no room left.. so take a step to the sidelines.. only to hear an excited J.Russo - “Hey Hannah.. what’s your shot?”… which led to some quick last minute thinking on the spot 😅 A brilliant challenge which led to some fun work and peculiar angles.
