What do CARS and POLITICS have in common? Ya gotta RACE ta win!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last week, PRI joined Michigan motorsports promoters and operators at @mispeedway to discuss the issues shaping the future of our industry.

We covered Right to Race legislation pending in Michigan, federal motorsports permanency and fairness, More Than a Track campaign, and more - key initiatives helping protect motorsports, strengthen our industry, and ensure our voices are heard at every level of government.

Thank you to coalition members for showing up, speaking up, and standing together for the future of motorsports in Michigan! 🏁

A whirlwind 7 days, with more craziness to come. Appreciative of all the people I was able to share it with!

Yesterday I went to @buckmotorsportspark with #truck13 the Ford C7000 for #truckersday and had a pretty good time despite a very challenging track prep.

I drag raced and sled pulled and the crowd seemed to really love the truck. I barely made it past the 100’ mark with the sled and as you can see from the video, I was spinning tire the entire time.

This coming Saturday I’ll be at the @lebanonexpocenter for the @largecarmag Nationals show and will be pulling again that evening.

Well, with the news today that @maplegrove1320 is closing and suspending the remainder of the event schedule for 2026, I decide to share some more memories of Truck 13 and The Vengeful One from my HOME (away from home) track.

I’ve been going to Maple Grove since 2011 to drag race, show, and spectate. I’m very proud to say I have not missed one Keystone Truckin’ Nationals event, raced and showed at all of the @nmra_racing events there, raced and showed at the Fun Ford Weekend events while they were still going, showed at the @americanmusclecom charity events, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: Made a TON of friends while going there. This includes other racers AND many of the staff! This news is not only hard on us racers, but most certainly the staff too. My hope is that @kylekoretskyracing and Family can get the track back up and running again in some way, shape, or form. I can assure one thing, when the track reopens………. I WILL BE THERE!!!!

SEMA and PRI caught up with acting United States Secretary of Labor @sonderling47 who shared that motorsports plays a vital role in the nation’s workforce and generates almost $70 BILLION dollars for the American economy.

Motorsports provides a pathway to prosperity for hundreds of thousands of Americans and @sonderling47 knows firsthand what’s at stake for the people behind the pistons! 🏁
