I had so much fun the past few days with these two road tripping and touring colleges. I started in Boston, made my way to Concord to scoop up Kimani and we headed to Providence to visit Miniya. Kimani and I headed to NYC where we toured Columbia, Barnard and NYU and visited with some of our favorite friends! #collegetours #brownuniversity #columbiauniversity #barnardcollege #nyu

The Underground is signing off for the semester! Coming back after two years was a huge challenge, but with our beautiful community of baristas and the support of our amazing customers, we did it!

We hope you cherish this space as much as we do. See you in February (with a couple new friendly faces). ♥️

On this #MaskMonday, we’re featuring Miniya Greene and Aaliyah Taylor, podmates and members of the Class of 2024. Both Miniya and Aaliyah participated in the Van Wickle Gates Walkthrough for First-Year Students last month, a Brown tradition welcoming the newest members of our community.

We invite all Brown students, faculty and staff to share photos in their masks for a chance to be featured on the University Instagram and website. Send your selfies via DM or to browntakescare@brown.edu. Thank you for staying committed to healthy behaviors. #BrownTakesCare

📸: @miniya.greene Two female Brown students pose in front of the steps of a campus building. Both students are wearing masks and holding brown and red pennant flags, that say "Brown" in white letters with a red border. One student is wearing a jacket, a skirt and black boots and the other is wearing a Brown University sweatshirt and jeans. Both students are wearing face masks.

Miniya grew this tomato plant from seeds. While she’s away at school it’s my and Torbjörn’s responsibility to keep Orlando Fernando alive. We don’t have a great track record at keeping house plants alive, lol, but I’m thinking if I look at this plant as a first grandchild, maybe I’ll do better. #tomatoplant #watchingplantsgrow #thethingswedoforourkids

Up next we have: Miniya Greene! Miniya is from the Windy City of Chicago, Illinois 🌬 and her favorite SPS memories were the late night chats she would have with her co prefects almost every night and going on walks on campus with my friends 🌳. She’s headed off to Brown university this fall and plans on studying, “medicine pediatrics or psychology idk👩‍⚕️” She would like the form to know, “that they are all amazing and beautiful people and I’m sad that we can’t have a formal goodbye right now but I hope to see them all soon.” Thank you Miniya!
