Breakfast with a side of shopping?! Say less. My mom and I tried Minnows on our tour of breakfast spots we haven’t been to yet and it was a delight! 😋The food was delish, the atmosphere was cozy, and there were lots of goodies to browse after our bellies were full. ☺️

I BOUGHT BRIELLE. 💸😂🛍️

This whole thing started with I Bought Manasquan , Main Street was hurting during construction, and at the same time my friends at IFC United needed a few more baskets for their fundraiser.

IFC helps with the quiet need in our community, the people and families who may fall under the radar but still need someone to show up for them. ❤️

So naturally I thought… why stop at Manasquan?

I live in Brielle. @brielleliving
We have amazing businesses here.
We still needed baskets.

And just like that, I Bought Brielle was born.

Huge thank you to everyone who let us come in, film, donate, support IFC and go along with the nonsense:

Shipwreck , my forever go-to and basically my second kitchen. @shipwreck_grill

@coreritualstudio you have a beautiful studio and some pretty bad ass teachers, you guys are always so generous. Thank you!

@waypoint622 where I spent a very respectable amount of summer nights doing important people-watching research.

@minnowscafe always adorable, always delicious, always showing up.

@julia_oldspoolsewing HOW did I just discover how cute this place is?!

Quick Pick , a Brielle staple, and you’re welcome for my son personally helping with the rent based on those credit card charges.

@vinniespanpizza Peter, you and your crew constantly show up for our schools and our community. So generous, always.

What started as a few baskets turned into a whole little community adventure and a reminder of why supporting local matters so much.

Shop local. Support the people who support your town. And when you can help someone who quietly needs it… do that too. ❤️

That’s officially the end of the line for I Bought Brielle.

Until I find another town to financially terrorize.

Lorene: THANK GOD. #briellenj #shoplocal #walkthewalk #monmouthcountynj #njshorelife

Well… I finished Main Street and then immediately felt guilty that I wasn’t giving my own hometown some love too. @brielleliving

So naturally, instead of stopping shopping like a normal person, I decided Brielle is next.

IFC United could still use a few more baskets for their upcoming fundraiser, and we have SO many amazing businesses right here in town with owners who are always showing up for this community.

And IFC is exactly the kind of organization I love supporting because they help people who sometimes completely fly under the radar. The people you may never realize need a little help. Honestly, we probably all know someone who has been there at one point or another and that is exactly why IFC exists.

So… I’m shopping Brielle. 🛍️

I’ll be popping into local businesses, buying a little something, asking for donations when it makes sense, and hopefully putting together some really fun baskets while showing off some of the amazing people behind our town.

Basically:
support local ✔️
support IFC ✔️
give Amber another excuse to shop ✔️😂

This is going to be fun.

My shopping addiction continues… for charity, obviously.

Another big thank you to all the PTO families, @paramountdinermanasquan @minnowscafe and @sunrisesipscoffee_ who donated all the delicious goods that kept our teachers fueled as they prepped for another great year at BES! 💙 💛

so excited to share this merch design for @minnowscafe ☀️ when we found home again in new jersey this time last year, minnow’s was one of our first favorite coffee shop stops! i loved it immediately, the menu, coffee, atmosphere and their curated gift shop. i thought how cool would it be to have my own artwork in the shop some day, and now that dream has come true! 🩵 working with local small businesses here has been such a fun addition to my design business. always grateful for the opportunity ☺️
