The Tea Tour Season Two Episode Two was at MadNice Coffee at Troy’s Somerset Collection.

Here are some additional photos by @minorphotography of the #DetroitTigersExhibit
15th anniversary historical display curated by The Detroit Shoppe in partnership with the Detroit Historical Society featuring over 100 to 250 local history artifacts, which included an original Detroit Tigers sign and other sports memorabilia alongside general Detroit cultural items. @
Key Details of the Exhibit
• Partner Organization: Detroit Historical
Society
• Location: The Detroit Shoppe at Somerset
Collection (North), Troy, MI
• Opening Date: October 3, 2025 (and active on
October 11, 2025)
• Tigers/Sports Content: Featured the original
Tiger’s sign and historic sports artifacts as part of a larger 15th-anniversary collection celebrating Detroit history.
Rather than a modern independent art installation designed by a specific artist and engineer, the centerpiece of the Tigers display was a real piece of history: the original 1961 Tiger Stadium sign, which was meticulously refurbished and preserved.
The exhibition space itself was a joint effort by community curators and skilled labor programs:
• The Curators: The entire exhibition was developed and organized by the coordination and curation teams at the Detroit Historical Society, who pulled the historic artifacts directly from their museum archives.
• The Builders/Engineers: The actual construction of the display’s custom centerpieces (such as the center stage built in the shape of a vinyl record) was completed by students in the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights’ Pre-Apprenticeship program in collaboration with Focus: HOPE.

In my opinion this collaboration was a photography and fashion event but it also was a community event that added unity and education.

Looking at this photo and realizing people may have actually experienced a time where things were black and white in print and also black and white in topic.

San Francisco Bay Area

I’m not sure if it’s Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors, or the music highlight at the airport, or the art displayed at the airport but this seems like an attractive location.
