Lighting candles this Hanukkah, I felt more connected to its meaning than ever before. Honoring our ancestors’ miracle of light, at a time when darkness is challenging our own, felt deeply healing and hopeful. I spent a few days in NYC before my nephew’s Bar Mitzvah just outside the city, and these Hanukkah nights truly filled my heart and soul. 🕎

My sister @jacquelinearon27 and I walked into @WhiteHorseTavern1880 in the West Village (the historic second oldest bar in NYC) and immediately saw three staff members gathered around a menorah, about to light. When I asked if we could join, they joyfully handed us a candle, and we sang the prayers together. Strangers who instantly felt like family. Thank you @boyfromnewyorkcity for your staff’s beautiful inclusivity. 💙🕎

A family we had never met opened their stunning home outside Manhattan to six of us who flew in for the Bar Mitzvah, so we could be close to the synagogue, and together. They even gifted us menorahs to light. 🙏🏻

An unforgettable night with the Voguettes bookclub —surrounded by the most beautiful, and inspiring women. ✨
We were honored to have @petergodw1n join us to discuss his extraordinary book, Exit Wounds. Hosted so graciously by @julietberko and led in conversation by our Charlotte Wagster who keeps our club together!
A night for the books, indeed. 💫📚
