Another cloudless afternoon at Elephant Rock Lookout 😅 Every time I come here for sunset, it seems to be the same story. Ron and I had headed up hoping for some beautiful sunset colour, but with not a cloud in sight, we knew we’d probably end up taking the same photos we’d taken before. The classic view here looks out over the beach towards Currumbin Rocks, with the Gold Coast skyline stretching out behind it 🌆 So instead of photographing the big scene again, I decided to look for the smaller details. There was a fisherman on the rocks in the distance 🎣 With the ocean, rocks and the view stretching out behind him, it really did look like the perfect place to cast a line. Sometimes you don’t need a dramatic sunset to make a scene interesting. You just need to look a little closer. Afterwards, we headed down for a nice dinner at the restaurant below and watched the city lights slowly turn on in the distance. Not quite the sunset we had planned, but still a pretty good evening. 🌅 ~ by Maddie Walcher . #timeimprints 📷 Quick Tip - When the big landscape isn’t working, zoom in and look for smaller moments and details within the scene. . . . . #Goldcoast #currumbinrock #photographytip #photolessons Elephant Rock Lookout • Currumbin • Gold Coast Australia • Currumbin Beach • Currumbin Rocks • Gold Coast skyline • Gold Coast sunset • Queensland coast • Gold Coast photography • coastal photography • Australian landscape photography • Gold Coast travel

Moments from Dubrovnik . . . Still busy with tourists enjoying the warm weather, coastal vibes and Game of Thrones hot spots . . . not to mention all the history that goes along with a city that is over 400 years old!

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I walk a lonely road the only one that I have ever known… When I went to Portugal a few years ago I watched many YouTube videos to try and find places to go and photograph. I stumbled across a guy who was searching the west coast to find amazing scenes to photograph. This one captured my imagination as soon as I spotted it. Only issue was he wouldn’t share the location so I had to work hard to find it. I noted his position in the video before and then again in video after and then went to google earth and searched the coast…Bingo there it was. Went here 2 night in a row and got some beautiful light both times. I love the adventures photography takes me on 🤩🙌 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 📷 Canon 🔍 Canon 16-35mm F2.8 ⭕ NISI 🖥 Lightroom/PS 🌏 Portugal ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #portugal #portugal_lovers #visitportugal #longexposurephotography
