🚨 NO BORDERS HERBALS IS LOOKING FOR NEW ARTWORK TO PRINT ON OUR FUNDRAISING MERCH 🚨

🌱 Themes: No border, Migrant solidarity, Anti-carceral, Biocentrism, Nature rewilding, Pirate / Witchy shit.

⏳ Deadline for interest: Sunday 25th October
Get in touch with:
- Expression of interest;
- Some pictures of your artwork history to get an idea of your style or any existing artwork that could be used for the design itself;
- For new artwork, a written description of your idea for the design.

🎯 If you're a creative, the themes proposed resonate with you, and you're in a position of being able to support this project, hit us up at nobordersherbals@proton.me.

📬 Mind that comments on social media pages and emails to other addresses will not be monitored. For any questions, clarifications and proposals, do email us at:
➡️ nobordersherbals@proton.me ⬅️

❕ The main printing method will be screenprinting, so it’s worth bearing in mind that a high-contrast graphic is more likely to produce a stronger result. That said, our previous artwork was mostly greyscale and turned out beautifully, so there’s definitely some flexibility.

📡 Share this widely and feel free to translate!

No Borders Herbals is a grassroot self-organised collective planning to self produce and distribute herbal medicine to people facing border violence on the 'Balkan route'. The project works from a principle of harm reduction by providing preventative medicine, self-care support and first aid materials to reduce the risks of untreated illness and injury.

The beautiful graphic crafted and donated to the project by @mintemori last year, has been loved by many and has been often spotted in the wild. Big up to the artist and our screenprinters (@elusivepress_screenprint & @carryonscreening in the UK, and @splitimage_screenprinting & @serigrafiacanaglia in Italy) thanks to who we managed to raise a large chunk of our funds.
These T-shirts can still be found ongoingly at a bunch of infoshops across the continent.

💸 We have no connection to institutions, NGOs, etc. Our funds come from a decentralised self-financing through infoshops, merch sales, benefit events, as well as donations made by individuals

"There's nothing fundamentally wrong with people. Given a story to enact that puts them in accord with the world, they will live in accord with the world. But given a story to enact that puts them at odds with the world, as yours does, they will live at odds with the world. Given a story to enact in which they are the lords of the world, they will ACT like lords of the world. And, given a story to enact in which the world is a foe to be conquered, they will conquer it like a foe, and one day, inevitably, their foe will lie bleeding to death at their feet, as the world is now." - Ishmael, Daniel Quinn

Too many of us have forgotten that we are just as much a part of the ecosystem as any other species. If we are to survive, we must remember this - as many Indigenous across the world have always remembered. The state of environmental disarray and disaster we find ourselves in relies on our ability to rewild not only our surroundings, but our very understanding of our position in the world.

On Saturday May 16th, the Tattoo Circus CPH is in town 🤡🔥😈🎪

Tattoo Circus is a self-organized festival that takes place in several cities in Europe, aiming at financially supporting imprisoned militants.
In this CPH edition, funds will also support people detained in immigration detention centers in DK.

In contrast to official tattoo conventions, It is not just a way to promote tattoo culture but a political act of practical solidarity with those who are imprisoned for their ideas and actions against repression. No one has any personal profit from it. Everyone who participates (from tattoo artists, to bands and organizers) knows that they offer their time, knowledge and effort in order to support imprisoned fighters in Europe and people in detention centers in Denmark.

DUMP

A mixture of mayhem, magic, and misering, Bristol finds ways to beam, but im feeling the mechanations of the world moving into deeper madness intensely. Everything feels burning to touch, but I know learning love will change me. I will not disassociate, I choose to be moved and be changed, and you all make it so easy.

Ourcylium pt 2 is brewing and bubbling like a steaming, decaying peat bog. This incarnation has new bodies, I will rot until April.
