Me choosing comfort, you choosing adventure. Me overthinking, you just going for it. 😂❤️

Somewhere between our random plans, little adventures and endless conversations, you’re slowly teaching me to step out of my comfort zone and enjoy life a little more. And I love that I’m discovering a side of myself I haven’t really explored before.

We’re different in so many ways, but I’m really glad we found each other. 🥹🫂

Happy birthday, Mintuuu! ❤️🌷🫂 @mintu.john

A little old-school mood from a very hot afternoon in Kuchipudi 🤎🌿

Between the frames, the heat, the saree and a lot of “let’s just manage somehow” moments. 😅
A few little memories from the photoshoot I shared a few days ago. ✨

One and a half weeks in Kuchipudi village … learning, dancing, cooking, sweating, washing clothes, grocery shopping, bangle shopping, taking photos, drinking lime soda & tender coconut… and somehow surviving the Andhra heat! ☀️🥥😂

This time, I had my friend @mintu.john with me, which made the whole experience even more special. We cooked together, danced together, went bangle shopping and came back with way too many glass bangles 😄🩷, explored the little moments between classes and, of course, complained about the heat together!

The afternoons were too hot to do much, the nights were even hotter to sleep peacefully, and by the last 2–3 days, both of us were basically running on zero energy. 😂 But somehow, we made it through every class and every day.

And the little victory? Our clothes dried in just 2–3 hours! 😂

From leaving home to finally coming back home, this reel is a little glimpse of my one-and-a-half-week life in Kuchipudi village, Andhra Pradesh, where I went to continue learning Kuchipudi Yakshagana from Sri Pasumarti Rattaiyya Sarma Garu. ❤️

Not every learning journey is glamorous. Sometimes it is sweaty, exhausting, messy, full of good food, colourful bangles… and still absolutely worth it. ✨

A rare break, a little photo session, and way too much afternoon heat. 🫠☀️
Kuchipudi village, you were beautiful… but that 1:30 PM sun? Absolutely not. 😂🤎

A much-needed little break in Kuchipudi village with @mintu.john 🌸🥹

We were exhausted, had no plans, and took forever to actually get ready… but somehow a lazy afternoon turned into sarees, davani, flowers, bangles, lime soda and the sweetest little memories. 😂🤍

Some of the best days are the unplanned ones. ✨

A little behind-the-scenes glimpse of one of our shoot days in Kolkata 🤍

We got ready, stepped out, watched Mintu work, waited around between shoots, and finally it was my turn in front of the camera. 📸

I wasn’t feeling my best that day, but once the camera was in front of me, I was exactly where I wanted to be. ✨

A tiring, chaotic, but memorable day in Kolkata and one I’m glad we captured. 🎞️

With @mintu.john 🤍

Feeling so grateful that I got to be a part of this beautiful Observer Program in Kolkata. ❤️

Getting to witness Sharmila Biswas ma’am teaching and working with such wonderful artists from different art forms was truly a privilege. And to be there for the final performance made it even more special.

I wasn’t really well that day and almost didn’t go, but I really didn’t want to miss this. So somehow got myself ready (because I wasn’t going to compromise on that either 😄), went, watched the performance, and came back.

Grateful to @angashuddhi for conducting this wonderful program and for giving us this opportunity. And a very special thank you to @sreelakshmy_govardhanan Chechi for suggesting that I come, and for all the help and support throughout this journey. ❤️

So glad I made it. ✨
