beside the river Part I Yu grew up in Nagano. When her family found out she was modelling, they stopped speaking to her. That was two years ago. She hasn't been back. In Tokyo she lives alone and works as a model, acting, being in front of cameras. Lately she's been spending time with an older man. A director. Successful, probably married. Part one of a series of film fragments by John Clayton Lee. Director: John Clayton Lee @johnclaytonlee DP: Andy PML @pml_andy Assistant Director / Producer: Mia Sato O'neal @miaonl Music: Seiji Champollion @seijichampollion Creative Agency: Goen Archive @goen_archive Cast: Kanae Togashi @kanae_tgs Camera Assistant: Jiawei Wang @grantjw Make up & Grooming: Mio Iguchi @mioiguchi Styling by Mia Sato O'neal @miaonl Clothing provided by Kakko @kakko_shimokitazawa Driver: YESMAN Hama-yan
