Meet Butch. He is an older gentleman who is currently unhoused and seeking housing assistance and will accept only if he can keep his best friend, Whitey!

Butch and Whitey love each other so much. Butch literally gives his blankets to Whitey to keep him warm on the streets. Butch feeds Whitey before he feeds himself.

After investigating how Butch came to have Whitey, I was told that he adopted Whitey from SEAACA. I do not know the details of how he achieved that and do not know how SEAACA adopted a dog out to an unhoused individual.

I was asked, by a lovely generous woman, to help Butch and Whitey. I have been told that Whitey is passed around to other unhoused individuals when Butch needs dog sitting. I have also been told that a law enforcement officer has been harassing Butch and trying to take Whitey from him to take to the shelter. I cannot let this happen. Butch takes care of this dog better than some housed individuals. The way they look at each other is true and genuine love and care.

If you can help me help Butch and Whitey in any way, please let me know. They are currently in Pico Rivera, CA.
