More than just a team 💛

We love getting together, inside and outside the studio, and taking a little time to laugh, celebrate, and have fun together. Because Fitbarre is about so much more than the classes we teach, it’s the people, the friendships, and the little moments in between.

So grateful for this crew and the family we’ve created together ☀️🫶💪🏼

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, and it had us thinking about the incredible women who lead our classes every day. 💛

Before they were on the mic telling you to go one inch lower, holding you in plank just a little longer, or building the playlists that get you through the shake… they were just kids with big personalities (which honestly checks out).

Swipe through to see our instructors back in the day and see if you can guess who’s who 👀

Strong women leading strong classes — we’re pretty lucky to have this crew 💪🏽

We’ve said it once and we’ll definitely say it again… those additional cues and set up reminders we sprinkle into class? They’re your guide to form perfection ✨ and maximum results 🔥

Tuck your hips. Soften your elbows. Pull your abs in.
Sometimes it feels like we’re a broken record, but trust us — if you’re hearing it, it’s because someone (maybe you! 😉) needs the reminder!

Verbal cues are our first line of instructing to help you check in, adjust safely, and get the most out of every pulse. When we say “form over everything” we mean it 📣 We know it can be easy to get lost in the bass line of your favourite song remix or disconnect after a long day… but we promise you’ll get the most out of your 50 minutes of work if you keep your eyes & ears open 💛

We’re still buzzing from our pop-up at Collective Arts Brewery — wishing we could bottle up the feeling of having 80+ of you amazing and strong community members under one roof sweating, shaking, smiling, and sipping together ✨💪🏽🍺

Saturday was an amazing reflection of how incredible this community is… and how perfectly barre & brews balance each other out 😉

Huge hops of gratitude to everyone who came out and to @collectiveartsham for hosting us and making a @sarcjohnson class burn feel (& taste) a little sweeter 🍻

Until next time… keep raising the barre and your glasses!
