got to sing at @heckschermuseum’s annual benefit celebrating the 100th anniversary of Eclipse of the Sun! :) nights like these remind me not only how many different ways there are to express something through art, but also how lucky we are to get to share them with each other. so grateful to have been a part of such a beautiful night🪻🌙

Final Audrey Residency meeting before summer break and such a fun one: it’s collaborators EllaRose Chary and Alex Keegan’s turn to host, and they take us out to the ballgame! By which we mean… lesbian softball practice. In Prospect Park! With pizza, and delicious conversation about community and participation, then we all kept talking over drinks at Ginger’s. Happy Pride Month!! ⚾️🍕🏳️‍🌈

Spiral Bound 🌀 This quote has been at the center of my creative practice for years: “Someone will remember us, I say, even in another time”. I read it to myself when I feel discouraged or uninspired. A translation of it just so happened to be the last Sappho fragment quoted in this script. This story and this music continues to open my heart every day. This world of muses holds my lightest joy and my deepest grief and reminds me why I make art. No one inspires me more than these artists. I’ll forever be grateful I had the opportunity to be a small part of the long life of this show. 🌀 Directed and written by @mirandaferriss Choreo and Movement Direction by @devrichey Music Direction by @dianalawrencemusic SM: @katiebazela Production Coordinator: @helenamarshall13 Lighting Design: Cayden Judd Sound Design: Mike Ekelburg Photos by @jonathan.morrey and @rjbframes
