In all reality, this week a lot of people have said, “The rain ruined it” or “The plans got messed up.” I strongly disagree.

The weather forced us together, and because of that, I grew closer to my brothers and sisters in Christ. We laughed, talked, worshiped, and grew in our faith together.

The Lord works in mysterious ways, and I’m thankful for every minute of it.

Anybody who talked to me before this week knew how pumped I was for the opportunity to go on this trip, but even I couldn’t have guessed how much of an impact this trip would have on my walk with Christ. In all of the craziness and uncertainty that we experienced, it was clear that God was with us through it all and He was using all of it for His plan and purpose. I’m so glad that I found this group of people when I needed them the most. We build each other up and encourage each other to be strong in our faith in Jesus. I’m forever grateful for the way God worked in me and through me this week to strengthen my own faith and also share His love with the city of Mobile!

From the moment I walked into this church, I felt like I didn’t belong like I had done something wrong just by being here. But now I understand the truth. God brought me here for a reason. He placed me on this path, and He brought all of us together so we could grow, lift each other up, and become stronger in our faith.

You all have changed my life in ways I can’t even fully explain. What we have here is more than just a church it’s a family. A family I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. I’m truly grateful that God led me to each and every one of you. Also thank you to my friends and family who never saw me any different.
