ARTYOU Performance: MIR Compagnie Under the artistic direction of Béatrice Goetz, the three dancers Salim Ben Mammar, Chantal Sieber and Toschkin Schalnich of the MIR-Compagnie used the spatial installation „Transformation“ by Simon Berger as a stage and starting point for the development of a half-hour dance performance. About MIR-Compagnie: Relationships move us, and what moves us reshapes our relationship. Urban dance styles and contemporary dance from the theater stages inspire each other in MIR Compagnie. They enter into dialogue, merge or separate themselves from each other, grow in their own profile. Together with the professional dancers of the ensemble, the choreographer Béatrice Goetz develops the motion material for their pieces. On this basis, the MIR Company from Basel has created a unique dance style, which it has been consistently enhancing since 2002. www.mircompagnie.ch Camera & editing: @laleahlisa @mircompagnie @toschkin @simonberger.art #artyou #dance #performance #transformation #mircompagnie #simonberger #simonbergerart #glassart #glassartist #artstuebli

ARTYOU Performance: MIR Compagnie Under the artistic direction of Béatrice Goetz, the three dancers Salim Ben Mammar, Chantal Sieber and Toschkin Schalnich of the MIR Compagnie used the spatial installation „Transformation“ by Simon Berger as a stage and starting point for the development of a half-hour dance performance. Around 50 visitors enjoyed an exclusive experience! Glass artist Simon Berger stages the exhibition space Artstübli in Basel entirely based on his own imaginations and, for the first time, creates new spatial installations out of his ongoing experiments, in which the visitors integrate themselves and interact with the materiality of glass. In addition, mirror shards and light incidence will create images on the walls, in the spirit of his investigation with reflection and transparency. Opening hours until April 1: Thursday/Friday: 11 am – 6 pm Saturday: 2 pm – 6 pm ARTYOU by Artstübli Steinentorberg 28 4051 Basel www.artyou.ch #artyou #installation #simonberger #simonbergerart #artist #glass #glassartist #exhibition #interaction #lightreflection #artwork #sculptures #experiments #cracking #glassfloor #artstuebli #dance #performance #mircompagnie #danceperformance #transformation

T R A N S F O R M A T I O N Back in 2004, Philipp Brogli has created a platform with Artstübli that represents all contemporary facets of urban art and culture, from Graffiti to Street Art. Artstübli became a gallery in 2014 by moving into a 125 m2 space in the circular buildings of the Markthalle Basel. In addition to specially curated exhibitions, Brogli conveys and coordinates projects like mural paintings, interior design, event appearances, but also guerrilla actions and interventions. Since November 2022, events of installative, culinary and performative arts are presented under the labels ARTYOU Installation, ARTYOU Culinary and ARTYOU Performance, which are no longer exclusively in the context of urban art. The transformation is also intended to contribute specifically to networking among the respective participating art and culture professionals, art venues, institutions and research projects, with the specific aim of connecting Basel's art and cultural landscape. Since October 2022, Raphael Reichert has been a new member of the team, who act as an art and culture manager. Motivated by this new orientation, we have also already extended the lease from 2024 to 2029… Far away from classical gallery system, Artstübli – Art & Culture offers creative experiences under the location label "ARTYOU" at Steinentorberg 28, which combines spatial installations with performance/culinary arts and presents the exhibition and project space in a new flexible setting. Depending on the respective subject, the space becomes an overall installation, wherein visitors and guests can also interact and integrate. Current ARTYOU Installation: „Simon Berger“ until end of march Next ARTYOU Performances: „Robin Michel“ February 16th – 7 pm, Entry: Free (Collection) „MIR Compagnie“ March 9th – 7pm, Entry: Free (Collection) Photo by @andypieren #artstuebli #art #culture #transformation #artyou #installation #culinary #performance

Vorstellungen: Mittwoch 09.11.2022, 19:30 Donnerstag 10.11.2022, 19:30 Dienstag 15.11.2022, 19:30 Mittwoch 16.11.2022, 19:30 Donnerstag 17.11.2022, 19:30 Freitag 18.11.2022, 19:30 Samstag 19.11.2022, 19:30 Sonntag 20.11.2022, 19:30 Mehr dazu: https://baslertotentanz.ch
