NYO Jazz 2026 ❤️

I am honored to have been a part of this wonderful program with these amazing musicians and even better humans. Touring San Francisco, Taiwan, Shanghai, and Beijing with these 21 gifted artists allowed to make lifelong connections and timeless memories. To be able to say that I am an alum of NYO Jazz is something I will cherish forever. Being accepted into this program was always a huge goal of mine and the experience didn’t disappoint.

Thank you to all the great people who made this experience possible, as I truly cannot express how grateful I am for the wisdom and memories you shared with us while doing all the work that goes unnoticed.

NYO Jazz 2026 🩵🩵🩵

This has been an incredibly eye opening month that I am sure I will never forget for the rest of my life. Thank you first for all of those who helped me get here through your support. Alethea and her family, Sophie, my teachers, my friends, etc. I treasure all of you

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for our amazing team that make this program possible. Thank you @joannamassey for your vision, @krisjohnsonmusic for your incomparable leadership and bandleading, and @deedeebridgewater for your beautiful artistic voice. And thank you to @8molly88 , @123funyayayayayaya , and @a.n.t.o.n.k.o.t for being the most relatable down to earth staff I could’ve asked for.

My peers in this program are such beautiful people. You all in some way or another make me incredibly jealous in the best way possible. I’m so inspired from this month and i’m excited to make music in a way I haven’t been in a second. Thank you to everyone.

P.S. Thank you @toddrphoto for the awesome conversations and taking the best photos. And thank you Auntie Jihye @jihyeleejiyo for composing such a breathtaking piece for us. 🩵

I am so grateful to have been given the incredible opportunity to tour with NYO jazz this past month, and I couldn’t have asked to spend it with better people/musicians than who was in this group, I’ll miss this band dearly.

Thank you to @krisjohnsonmusic for being such an incredible bandleader and person, and thank you to all the staff involved in making this such an incredible program.

Also it wouldn’t let me tag more than 20 people so I can’t forget about DAHOON @dy1anwho_
Also thanks to @toddrphoto @hhaarrii.ii and @a.n.t.o.n.k.o.t for the photos 📸
