I gotta say it was pretty weird gathering these photos for this post. My head has been down for so long working and managing life, I forgot how much time has passed until these photos are put side by side like this. Each photo is a whole different era of my life that I almost forgot. But it’s time to start sharing more of my stories even if only to document it for myself. It’ll be good for me.

If these slides conjure up any questions or other topics you’d like me to cover, please share them with me! That will help keep up the positive momentum and tamp down the internal monologue that keeps telling me there’s nothing interesting in my life to talk about. 😊.

19 years! We couldn’t be more grateful for the community that continues to grow in Ballard and around the world. Whether you’ve been a regular at the tea house, or purchased through our online store, thank you for being a part of this journey. We have so much exciting news to share as we head towards the big 2-0. 19 years and we are just warming up.

Finally made it to Seattle and now I get why people hype up the food scene 🤤

I spent most of my trip eating my way through the city, with a heavy focus on matcha, Asian food, some touristy spots, and all the spots my friends told me I had to try. I left very full, very happy, and already thinking about my next trip back.

 A really nice floral drink with the osmanthus syrup adding a subtle sweetness and depth. The salted cream wasn’t as strong as I expected, but I liked how balanced everything was overall. Bonus points for the staff being super informative and actually explaining the flavors - we love a knowledgeable staff moment!

Stopped by @miroteahouse and tried one of their seasonal drinks - Kinako Matcha, and it was sooo good 🍵✨

It was sweetened with vanilla and topped with a light soybean whipped cream, which added the perfect nutty, creamy touch. You could instantly tell the matcha was of high quality. I’m honestly so happy I chose to try this place because otherwise I would’ve been missing out 🤍

The cafe was popping and had such a cute aesthetic. A great spot to work from or hang out with friends. Definitely going back once I’m back in Seattle 🥰
