Some people think it is a style decision but I call it logical.
This bathroom is small enough that every decision had to be both functional and aesthetic . The niche is the whole story: one long recessed shelf running behind the sink all the way past the toilet, functions as the much necessary counter space, especially for those girls who loooooove their makeup ( totally not in this picture, sorry) , without stealing precious flow space from the room. It looks like a style choice, but It was a storage calculation💡.
What is the most logical decision in your house that everyone assumes was a style choice?

Filling a room with products is easy. Creating a space that feels effortless, calming, and deeply personal, that's where design begins. A bathroom isn't just tile, fixtures, lighting, or paint. It's how every line, texture, and finish come together with intention. Your morning begins there. Your evening unwinds there. That's why I help clients create an experience, not just select materials. Design your bathroom for how you want to feel, not just how you want it to look. If you're ready to create a space that supports your rituals and feels like you, send me a message.

Finding a place for everything is a solid approach to staying organized, but that's not the same as fine bathroom or kitchen remodeling and design. Environmental psychology experts say that thoughtful space planning affects not just comfort, but even productivity. And honestly, that checks out. The moment a clear, pleasing structure emerges, you feel that sense of order. This project had a pretty tricky layout: odd corners, angled ceilings, and an elongated toilet area. Plus a door that swung in and blocked the vanity. The room itself was unconventional in both shape and size, but I never doubted we could bring the rendering to life, and in the end, the result matched the vision. Today, there are endless design options. As a designer, you usually have tons of directions you could go. But the key is aligning completely with the client's taste. After reviewing several directions, we landed on Sahara Noir accent tile, which set the tone for the rest of the bathroom. We removed the door between the toilet room and the main bathroom, and reoriented the main bathroom door to swing out toward the bedroom while still meeting clearance and egress requirements. All the walls, ceilings, doors, and trim were painted the same color to keep accents minimal and create a calm, enveloping feel. For the vanity and toilet room built-ins, we chose walnut cabinetry for warmth, comfort, and a touch of spa-like nature. True luxury is calm. It's quiet, confident, and thoughtful in a world of constant excess. I choose clarity. In chaos, I choose form.

This coat closet was doing its job, but we have standards. Swipe to see the entryway closet transformation process and finished look. The same 6’ coat closet got the custom Shoshi Designs transformation. It was already working it had hooks and a door and no complaints. But we have standards, not just for looks but also for function - the system part made sure the function stayed, and even got upgraded with that cute mail box and a place to land. The Rhythm made sure all transitions are seamless yet interesting and character came in with a celebration of patterns that mirror the homeowners joyful personalities. It is the same footprint, but we made it so much more !

This bath deserved a room of its own, so we gave it one. Oversized, dreamy, and stocked for the ritual: botanical bath essentials, two rain shower heads, lavender soaking salts, fluffy towels and soft robes. Your post-hike plans, upgraded.

Standing in a sea of options, each tile speaks loudly in its own way. The magic is in how they come together: vertical or horizontal, wall or floor. It all depends on placement. I’m blending selections from three suppliers: @triangletileandstoneofnc , @besttile , and @mirrella_tile . Follow along, soon you’ll see the final reveal of how these distinct tiles come to life!

One of our client's top priorities was a modern bathroom with a sleek design and dual shower heads. To maintain consistency with the wood accents found in the other spaces, we opted for tiles that mimic wood slat walls, ensuring a cohesive look throughout the space.
