Watch it in full here or on Youtube through the link in mah bio!

My show at Botanique will also be with maaaaany people on stage, like in this video, one even might call it a megaband. Come see us Sunday in De Rotonde at Le Botanique! Tickets through bandsintown in my bio :)

Surprise! Live session launch 🚀 This is back from when we did the live session for carver. I’ve been waiting patiently for the album to come out so I can fire these out into the open.

“Sleepless Dream” might be my favorite track of the album, and doing this live session of it rather impromptu with all these amazing people was fan-flippin-tastic. 🩵

Thank you @frederikdaelemans for the marathon bassline, to @siebechau @g3r44rd @artova_nroey @susobrino for the dancing nylonstrings , @sep_francois for the groove and @mirteleconte and @ankethomassen for the mystic vocals 🫂 And of course king of hiding mic’s @pieterjanmaertens ✨ AND the perfect film duo @julesdeslet and @kradennaej for making us shine. Lastly, @fos_phorus for leading the band while I was frantically making pasta. 💫

Full video here but also on Youtube through the link in my bio! (Linktree)

Behold, at long last, my debut album ‘The House’ is out in the world! Six years of joy and sorrow come together in these 12 songs. It would mean a lot to me (and hopefully you) if you would give it a listen either on streaming…or if you’d like one of my beautifully designed vinyls, you can buy it online, at one of my release shows, or at the City Tavern this Sunday.

It’s been a journey!
We started with a cozy jam-packed live session of ‘Carver’, to be followed by my first official single “Avalanches”, after which we traveled to Essaouira to capture the spirit of “Nimbus”, to then go into the woods and reconnect with our childlike wildlife with “Panther”, to eventually end with the title track of the album: “The House”.
But it’s far from the end. I have lots more to share with you later. But for now, enjoy the music and the story of The House!

I have lots of people to thank: @fos_phorus @lucupright @tomvanstiphout @rasmuselhoj @jofrancken @alfredoparedes.music @pieterjanmaertens @g3r44rd @siebechau , @hadrienpierson , @sinephro_alice , @simonmoortgat @julesdeslet @kradennaej @ellenvnnst @frederikdaelemans , @pettereldh @mirteleconte , @lahdesmakiantti @jonashollevoet @samballett @benoit_vg @rebeccadriesmans my parents and many more, all my friends in Copenhagen and RMC. The Unday fam for believing in the music @undayrecords ❤️

Remember to come celebrate with us this Sunday at the @citytavern_bxl !

Here is some random footage of the journey which took 6 years in various places… last one being me finding out I got the grant I needed to make this album.

Dear friends,

The summer has passed and though rich and immoral monsters have plunged our natural climate into ruin, the first signs of what could be called an autumn arrive at our doorstep.
Let us meet in The Tavern once again
and regain our strength for the season
with special guest Elis Floreen,
your favorite local troubadour,
bringer of heartache and whimsy.

The Tavern will celebrate the release of Elis Floreens long-awaited record The House
which explores the search of finding community and laments a forgotten world.
In honor of the album, The Tavern will be an open house for a day, starting from 14:00 and ending around 21:00.

There will be a headphone station to listen to Elis' beautiful new record, the possibility to buy a signed vinyl, and if the winds blow true, an intimate performance of one or two songs.
For a small donation, your trusty tavern host will provide an array of snacks, baked goods, homemade drinks and a simple dinner.

As always, stop by to grab a bite
when it suits you best.
Hope to see you all again soon 💚

Jules

Another lil live session with angels @rebeccadriesmans & @mirteleconte 🩵 come see us sing together at my release concerts at @botanique_bxl on October 11th or in @amorvanderoma on November 1st!

Had this lying around in the archives, a small a capella song I wrote a few years back inspired by a piece by Liszt.

All that once was beloved
All that once was wanted
Had a seat at my table
And as friends we departed

And the fire I sat in
Kept me warm through the seasons
Left me as it was smiling
And left my door wide open
